FOR THE PIECES THAT MATTER MOST.
A piano can weigh several hundred kilos, and an antique can’t be replaced. These moves need planning: the right number of people, protection for the item and your home, and a clear route at both ends.
Tell us what it is, how many there are and the access at both ends, including any steps outside. We’ll plan the crew and equipment, and confirm insurance cover with you before you book.

KNOW.
How many people does it take to move a piano?
It depends on the piano and the route. An upright on the ground floor needs fewer hands than a grand going up stairs. We plan the crew from your answers about the piano and the access.
Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Usually, yes. Pianos are best tuned a few weeks after a move, once they’ve settled into the new room, so it’s worth booking a tuner for then.
Is my antique insured during the move?
Tell us roughly what it’s worth when you request a quote. We’ll discuss and confirm cover with you before you book.
Can you move other heavy or delicate items?
Yes. Customers have trusted us with everything from a very big cabinet up two flights of stairs to a pottery kiln. Choose “Other fragile item” in the questions and describe it in the notes.
